Hesperia
Hesperia is located within San Bernardino County, and close to the cajon pass, a choice residence for many commuters. It began as a Spanish land grant: Rancho San Felipe, Las Flores yel Paso del Cajon, founded in 1781. The first inhabitants were Serrano Indians. They lived in the normally dormant Mojave River bed, and the land was sparsely inhabited desert during Spanish-Mexican rule in the 19th century.
Hesperia is now known for its famed golf course, a former PGA Tour stop, and several outdoor recreational areas that serve as popular weekend getaways for Los Angeles residents. The High Desert sunsets are a sight to see, along with the starry night skies. Looking for peace and quiet, Hesperia is worth the visit and you may want to even call it home.
